My Favourite Things (May 2024)
May 01, 2024Namaste dear friends,
Usually on the 1st of every month, I share with you a round-up of what I've been enjoying and turning my attention to in the preceding month. Today is no exception but I'm focusing on all things Ayurveda. The month of May is a special one for the Bhakti Rose community because I'll be 'retiring' my Ayurveda Goddess training in its current form.
This is the LAST TIME you can purchase Ayurveda Goddess before she goes underground for a few months in order to be re-birthed.
There are some big advantages if you choose to purchase Ayurveda Goddess now:
- 30% discount applied at checkout until Monday, May 6th at 10am (after which time the program is no longer available)
- 4 live Zoom calls with me in the month of May (we will meet on Wednesday mornings at 10am)
- Free access to the upgraded version of Ayurveda Goddess when it's released later this year.
I do hope you'll join us. You can find out all the details here:

Meanwhile, let's dive into all my favourite Ayurvedic things. I've spent over 25 years studying and implementing the teachings of Ayurveda and these are literally the best of the best resources I come back to over and over again:
READING My two all-time favourite Ayurveda books are both by my teacher Maya Tiwari with whom I studied for more than a decade in a one-to-one mentoring relationship. 'The Path of Practice' is the perfect beginner's introduction to Ayurveda and covers food, breath, and sound as wholesome healing modalities we all have access to. Her follow-up book 'Women's Power to Heal Through Inner Medicine' is a little more in-depth and an absolute treasure trove of wisdom.
WATCHING I am a huge fan of Ayurvedic chef and author Divya Altar. She is one of the most genuine and authentic teachers I've come across. This free video is a brilliant introduction to vegetarian Ayurvedic cooking. Grab and notebook and pen and you'll be cooking up a storm in no time. Her book 'What to Eat for How You Feel' is also brilliant.
LEARNING AND LISTENING This recent podcast with my teacher Maya Tiwari and the brilliant Amy Landry is wonderful. Amy is also holding a Summit at the moment which I very much recommend you check out.
SKINCARE These products from Ibu Ayurveda are just delicious and authentically ayurvedic. There is an interview with the founder, Justene, inside the Ayurveda Goddess program too.
FOOD AND SUPPLEMENTS Here is a favourite recipe for the ayurvedic staple kitchari and for more cooking inspiration I love the work of Kate O'Donnell (Everyday Ayurveda is my favourite book of hers).
Some of these resources will be familiar to you already because they've been favourites of mine for a long time and I have shared them before. The wonderful thing about Ayruveda is that it's timeless.
With great love all is possible,
Katie Rose x
